The Power of the Music to Connect The Hemispheres of the Brain

True MUSIC helps to connect the RIGHT and the LEFT Hemispheres of the Brain,  both work in the presence of Music. I say TRUE MUSIC  because some aren't pure and perfect and instead to bring  good effects it  confuses our  brain order and waves, per example  Heavy Metal, Funk and I think even eletronic music. Watch below the talent pianist playing a Classic  Music  composed almost 500 years ago, Passacaglia by Handel,  the same composer from the Aleluias. This music  is still perfect and beautiful and thos touch the essential part of the soul.

I love to do my Physical Coordination and Eyes Exercises using this music from Handel and others also beautiful. I have incorporated this Exercises in my daily routine. Just 10 minutes a day, at least,  this Exercises help a lot our brains and eyes to be in shape. Yes, the eyes need work out also, because there are many muscles and structures around and inside, but we need a Certified Visual Coach to prescribe them, I just give some tips about Natural Eye Care by Holystic Optometrist Dr. Marc Grossman.

Let's go to see the functions of each hemisphere again, as this was the main subject of researching for my post graduation  dissertation in 2000,  I am an expert  in this. Check it out the chart below from Dra. Edwards's book:

"Music Affects Emotion, Involves Deep Levels Of Your Brain, And Helps You To Heal"(1)

Although music involves many areas of the brain, people listen to or play music because they like it. Research also indicates that people value music primarily because of the emotions it evokes.

Just listen true music is very good for the brain but to play a musical instrument  is even better because in order to play we need to use both hands at the same time. In the top of this the eyes need  be in constant movements to read the music on a sheet in order to play the instrument.

Then, if you have children under your care try to do they learn to play an instrument to develope their skills and focus.

Even adults should be involve in some way with music. At this time I am participating  in the Choir and it is being an amazing healing process to me, to the point I am being  bold to show my art, in spite of I don't play an instrument but I am following the musicians, the other singers and conductor.

My personal story with music

When I was 15 years I started to try to learn and read music, when I just started to learn piano, it was just some months because how I didn't have piano in home I dint succeed. I always loved piano sound.

After my mom bought a guitar for me and I was playing well in order to play with the Youth Group during the mass in the Catholic Church I was congregation that time.

When I just graduated in Physical Education and started to teach Gym classes I  developed a good sense of rhythmic because the exercises for Gym Classes should be given using the compass of the musics.  That time I was participating in Dance Classes, Balet and Jazz.  I even worked professionally dancing in shows for  children. Till nowadays I enjoy very much to do my Coordenation and Eyes Exercises  using the compass of the musics.

Nowadays I am singing in the Choir of the First Baptist  Church in the city closed the little Town I am living and I am loving so much. The church  has a big Organ and Piano with tale, drums and guitar. My voice is Soprano and it has the Altos and Tenors. To sing in this Choir is being an amazing experience  to me, it even helping me to be confident and bold with my talents. With all these workouts:  drawing, painting, singing and eyes exercises it is helping me to be totally healed.  My spirit is lift up when I am sing in the altar, it seems to me I am worshiping the Lord in Heaven already. Please, take a look in the video  below,  the most beautiful service  I have participated in my life! It was last Easter, April/2025, the theme was: " Seeing the raised Christ." I am the lady dressed in pink in  front, behind the pianist. May you enjoy:

I always like to sing and  since I was in kindergarten I am trying to do my best, not just sing but drawing because my amazing kindagarden teacher NEVER gaves us a ready draw to painting, but always it  was to use our creativity freelly. Sometimes I sing alone in the shower, out side my home, but I enjoy very much to sing inside my car also,  because the acoustic  is good, check it out:
