Maybe you think Art isn't for you because sometimes it is so expensive to buy or participate  in some Art Classes.  Some people say: - I can't draw one line! Then you can think also:  -  it is just for some privileged  elite, just to see in museums or galleries.  
I believe Art should be helping people to improve their potential, not just to enrich some. I think  Art should be for all with affordable price  and even free, because this I am offering my WORKSHOP ON CREATIVITY free. 

I am so blessed to be born gifted with an amazing Artist Talent, then by Jesus Christ`s grace I am offering this Workshop free to bless everyone in the community who wants to learn to draw, about the Functions of the Hemispheres of the Brain and Creativity. According  to Dra. Edwards anybody can draw using the right methodology. In spite of I was born an artist I just learned  to  do realistic draw when I was 30 years old, because no teacher in schools could teach me  that.
 My first Workshop in Mentone, AL last March/2025  was very good as some people, who thought they would never be able to draw, learned how to do it. For me it was very powerful, because who teaches learn twice: now I am a Professional Artist, with my creativity overflowing in all areas of my life. Then I am inviting artists, as well as all other professionals also, to enhance even more their skills in general, because creativity isn’t just for art but for all activity in our lives.

I want to teach people to see how an artist sees. I have natural accurate eyes for details, which I am enhancing  even more with some exercises. You can appreciate my art visiting my website: RuthFerrazArt.blogspot.com and see not just my last 11 Oil on Canvas for my Art Exhibition in Boom Town Makers Market, Fort Payne, AL, last July/2025, but many other canvases I have painted during my lifetime.

I am a teacher also for Graduation and Post-Graduation in Education. My field of research is about: - The Functions of the Hemispheres of the Brain and Creativity. I truly believe that the main goal of the art should be to bring mankind “the  good, the beautiful and the pure”, as Dr. Norberto Keppe, a  famous Brazilian  Psychotherapist says.

For my Workshop I use the methodology of Dra. Betty Edwards who wrote the book: “Drawing in the Right Side of the Brain”, which I basically used for my Post-Graduation dissertation. As well I use some exercises for body coordination and eyes of the Brain Gym by Dr. Paul Dennison to help to connect the hemispheres of the brain,  body and mind, as my first graduation is in Physical Education.


If you want to know me personally and enhance your skills come to participate in the Free Workshop on Creativity, I will be teaching next November/2025 on Tuesdays from 2pm to 4pm, in the Town of Mentone, AL. 

If you don't live in the area of Northeast AL and want participate maybe you can come to the town to do an intensive workshop I intend to do in one week in the winter, then you can come and enjoy the winter on the Lookout Mountain, maybe see some snow.  You could rent a cabine on the mountain and enjoy the beautiful surround areas. My mission is call attention  to the importance of enlight ourselves with natural intelligence  and wisdom the Lord gives us, specially through His Word, instead to enfase  Artificial Inteligence.
