PROPHETIC MEANING OF MY CANVAS "JESUS BEING BAPTIZED IN THE HOLY SPIRIT"
By Ruth Ferraz Just after Jesus was baptized in the water by John, the Baptist, he went up straightway out of the water and heaven's were opened unto Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him. I understand that the Prophetic Meaning for this episode in the Gospel is to show us that we should also receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, not just in the water. We should have the "fruits of the Spirit"! I understand that we should prove we are baptized in Spirit, being a New Person, born again in Spirit to come in the Kingdom of God. I know the Gospels by heart since my teenagehood years and I have read the all Bible 11 times during my lifetime. Jesus tells Nicodemus in John 3:3 that no one can see the kingdom of God without being born again. Jesus stated, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Once we are born again we should be able to have the fruits of the Spirit: love,...
